Hey y’all, my name’s Capt. Blake, and I’m thrilled to share incredible fishing experiences with you and your crew! Growing up, I spent countless days fishing, often skipping class to catch bass or go spearfishing. My early love for the ocean instilled in me a deep passion for marine life and outdoor adventures.

After graduating high school, I moved to the Florida Keys to pursue my passion for the sea. I earned a degree in Marine Environmental Technology from the local community college, specializing in research scuba diving and ornamental aquaculture. This education provided me with a solid foundation in marine biology, underwater habitats, and sustainable practices.

Following college, I worked as a diver, collecting marine specimens for researchers and aquariums. This role allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge about various marine ecosystems and the diverse species that inhabit them. My experience in research scuba diving enhanced my understanding of underwater life, which I love to share with my guests during our fishing adventures.
Eventually, my journey led me to spend almost every day on a fishing boat, turning my lifelong passion into a rewarding career. At Key West Charter Fishing, I combine my expertise in marine environments with my love for fishing to provide you with an exceptional experience.
