1. Introduction

Welcome to Key West Charter Fishing. These Payment Terms (“Terms”) govern the payment process for booking our fishing charters. By making a booking with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully to understand your payment obligations and our policies.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for booking our fishing charters:

• Cash: Accepted in person at our marina location ( * preferred payment method )
• Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
• Bank Transfers: Direct bank transfers to our designated account or via Zelle, venmo, and cashapp
  

3. Deposit Requirements

To secure your booking, a deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is required at the time of reservation (the deposit is a credit toward the trip). This deposit confirms your reservation and ensures your spot on the scheduled fishing charter. Please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy. 

4. Payment Schedule

• Initial Deposit: 20% of the total trip cost is due upon booking.
• Final Payment: The remaining 80% payment can be made via credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or cash (* preferred ) at our marina.
• Payment Confirmation: Upon receipt of your final payment, you will receive a confirmation email with all trip details.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

For detailed information regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

6. Late Payments

• Grace Period: A 3-day grace period is provided after the final payment due date. Payments received within this period will still be accepted without additional fees.
• Missed Payments: Payments not received within the 3-day grace period will result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund of the deposit. You may rebook subject to availability, but additional fees may apply.

7. Non-refundable Fees

The initial 20% deposit is refundable, if it meets the the conditions of our Cancellation and Refund Policy . This deposit covers administrative costs and ensures your reservation is held for the scheduled trip date.

8. Security of Payment

We prioritize the security of your payment information. All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways that comply with industry standards for data protection and encryption.

9. Disputes

Any disputes regarding payments must be addressed within 30 days of the transaction date. Please contact us immediately if you encounter any issues with your payment, and we will work with you to resolve the matter promptly.
